Sherpa Rumtek Jacket - Men's

The Rumtek is Sherpa's warmest synthetically-insulated jacket. Made to hold its own in big-time, cold mountain weather, it's got 170-gram PrimaLoft ONE insulation housed in a shell of ultra-light, wind- and water-resistant Pertex Quantum nylon. The insulation stays lofty even if it gets wet, which means all that crucial warmth doesn't go missing when and where it matters. The shell has a hearty strength-to-weight ratio so it can afford to be super light while still standing up to the abuse of rock and ice.

• The 20 denier x 20 denier Pertex Quantum nylon shell fabric is featherweight, windproof, water-resistant, and extremely strong for its weight
• 170-gram PrimaLoft One insulation provides potent warmth, superior water resistance, and is lightweight, breathable, compressible, and quick to dry
• Helmet-compatible hood has an adjustment at the back to snug the fit when needed; a bonded brim deflects weather
• Two internal mesh pockets allow you to use your body heat to thaw water bottles or dry out gloves
• Napoleon chest pocket on the right side makes for less bulky layering (our mid-layer pieces typically have pockets on the left side; now pockets don't œstack on top of one another)
• Articulated elbows enhance the fit and feel in the arms
• Cuffs adjust via Velcro closures for a snug, custom fit over or under gloves
