For those of you who wish to carry the MDV outside of the way we designed it we have developed with our friends at Covenant Design a snap retention sheath with soft loop. The design is based on mounting the sheath OWB horizontal with the one soft loop so you can change the angle of the blade to your liking.. typically appendix carry. If you want to mount this in a different way then provided you will need to swap out the soft loop for a clip or other attachment of your choosing. The MDV Retention sheath comes also with a Skallywag IWB/OWB clip and hardware so you can take the loop off and mount the clip if you want.
