Stand on Liquid Inflatable SUPs are constructed using a Multi-Layer Fusion (MLF) technology which is lighter, stronger, and stiffer than the traditional double layered PVC technology. This is done by fusing two layers of high-density structural PVC into a single structure by heat lamination. The heat lamination process is glue-less and solvent free to eliminate hand gluing errors. The PVC layer is 1.3mm thick, with the first layer of 0.55mm/500D and the second layer of 0.7mm/1000D. Because we bond the PVC layer right to the 355 count drop-stitch core, the board is able to take advantage of the torsion stiffness during inflation. The seams are also heat pressed for an airtight and waterproof seal.
