The aggressive displacement hull tracks well over long distances while its water line provides incredible glide. The double concave bottom and recessed standing area offer stability in all water conditions. The combination of the nose and tail tie-downs for gear transport and performance shape makes the San Juan an ideal expedition board for all types of water adventures. Our Thermal Composite Wood Construction offers extreme durability and impact resistance at an ultra-light weight. Starting with our stringerless EPS foam core we then top it with a fiberglass and wood sandwich allowing the board to remain lightweight while maintaining durability. Carbon reinforcements at the nose, tail, and rails provide additional impact resistance at the most vulnerable spots of the board. Top it off with a vacuum-bagged thermal molded epoxy and you get a paddleboard with excellent strength-to-weight.
