Used my alcohol stove to heat water to boil. Let stand off heat to reach optimum brew temp of 200 to 210 degrees, added coarse ground coffee and let brew for 5 minutes. Used the insert to press the coffee and then poured a great cup of coffee. This set gives you a great cup of coffee and enables you to also heat water for other uses, or other cookjng tasks.
