SteriPEN purifies water using Ultraviolet (UV) light. Whether your source is a clear running brook or a hotel tap, SteriPEN destroys viruses, bacteria and protozoa, including Giardia and Cryptosporidium in seconds. To purify 32 oz of water, the SteriPEN only takes about 80 seconds! The Safe Water Pack is an all-in-one drinking water treatment system that includes the SteriPEN Classic, Water Bottle Pre-Filter and a Nalgeneï¾® BPA-Free wide-mouth water bottle. This system is all that is needed for treating drinking water while camping, hiking, backpacking or traveling.
