Product Info for Sweet Protection Grimnir TE Helmet
The Grimnir is Terje Haakonsen's "pro model" and the most advanced freeride helmet on the market, fully tested and certified for use with GoPro® and Contour® POV cameras. Only the best materials and technology are used. The shell is made of Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer (CRP), which provides incredible strength. The impact absorption is provided by Sweet Protection's unique Impact Shield technology; advanced EPS padding constructed with "shields" in various densities to distribute pressure and absorb energy in the most efficient way. The helmet also has the unique Multi-directional Impact Protection System (MIPS) a technology that can dramatically reduce the rotational forces to the brain. threaded fasteners hidden in the carbon shell allow for the assembly of POV cameras - with two separate mounting brackets included with the helmet. The Grimnir is well-ventilated with a total of 26 ventilation outlets, has a removable and washable liner and removable ear pads, and the OcciGrip system easily lets you adjust the fit for maximum comfort.
