Any time I can cut weight and get 2 uses from one item it's a good idea. Inside feels comfortable, outside durable. Looks great, reverse it for pillow use.. can't wait to use it!! Will stuff it with clothes at night

I ordered the large stuff sac and I have plenty of room for all my clothing and it makes a perfect pillow. You can't go wrong with it. I wish I would have purchased it earlier.

I used this pillow sack on a 10 day backcountry canoeing trip and it was great! It kept clothes dry inside my dry sack and doubled nicely as a pillow at night.

This is a great product and exceeded my expectations. The outside of the stuff sack is a thin nylon and a little crinkly. I was afraid it was going to be noisy when using as a pillow. The inside is a nice soft fleece. When I stuffed my clothes into the sack for using as a pillow, it worked perfectly. There was no noise at all - just a very comfy pillow.
Great product. Cannot stress enough how important it is to find multipurpose equipment. I put my clean clothes or down jacket in this for hikes and simply invert it and stuff back in for a great pillow that is soft and comfy! It is a little noisy but gets better when clothes fill the sack. MULTIPURPOSE, MULTIPURPOSE, MULTIPURPOSE!
Questions & Answers for Therm-a-Rest Stuff Sack Pillow
The sleeping pad will need to be folded as you describe and rolled up to fit into the Stuff Sack. Sizing will depend on the size of your pad, but the a regular Trail Scout is likely to fit in the large.
