You don't have to be an alpine climber to appreciate lightweight warmth. However, if you are an alpine climber pay attention because the SemiLite was designed with your needs in mind. When paired with the appropriate upper body layers the SemiLites half length makes it a solid alternative to carrying the bulk and weight of a traditional bag while staying warm down to 20F.image

So this bag is made to be used in conjunction with a down jacket. So it insulates your legs. The second user height is just saying the length of the bag, which would be a kids small. Let us know if you have any additional questions.
