The Wetterlings Clearing Axe is for clearing brush and undergrowth in the forest, an environmentally friendly alternative to a noisy and gas guzzling clearing saw. Used for clearing of roadsides and ditches. The advantage of a Clearing Axe compared to a traditional Axe is that the front of the steel arch takes the hit. If you accidentally cut into the soil and stone the cutting blade is not damaged. Can also be used for manual limbing.
