Zamberlan Vibram StarTrek soles feature dual-density PU construction (one for comfort, one for support), a TPU stabilizer, and a tread with excellent downhill braking, toe climbing zone, wide yet grippy lugs for easy cleaning, and a non-slipping heel strike zone

A 3/4 RRS (Rubber Rand System) is constructed using an elastic rubber compound and beveled edges underneath (non-visible) to prevent catching and reduce delamination

Description says this runs large and order half size down. Not sure the reasoning behind this, as I feel like they are narrow. They feel bombproof at this point. Great side to side stability. Cant really speak to the longevity yet obviously.
These Zamberlan boots are the nicest construction of any high end boot that I have owned. Absolutely gorgeous boot. Lace up very strong and tight. Felt slightly narrow on the toes, especially later in the day. Didn't need to break it in, just wore and tested it out for about an hour and than took it for a 14 hour hunting trip in the peaks and it worked perfectly. No blisters or sore feet. I found their unique heel lock system very useful. It kept the feet in place and was really comfortable.
