AHS sandwiches a TPU insert between two low-density layers of EVA in the midsole. The soft upper layer gives your foot a cushioning effect while walking, while the bottom layer absorbs negative impact with the ground, adapting easily to uneven terrain.

For steep, looser terrain, the Vibram Hero outsole's deep, multi-directional lugs and pronounced heel keep you steady in any conditions. The Thunder uses Hydrobloc-treated suede uppers, backed by GORE-TEX Performance Comfort membranes for waterproof, breathable comfort guaranteed for the life of the boot.
