I had a pair of Salomon snow shoes, and needed something similar. I have horses on a remote pasture, and if the snow is over 2 feet deep I have trouble gaining access to feed each day. Snow shoes are the only way in. I needed a second pair this winter, and the EVO's were the right shape and weight, plus the cleats are stable on icy patches. I have only used them briefly this wi... I like these a lot. The things I like the most are compactness, modularity (tails only when needed), traction is great, climbing "bar" is a big saver. They are easy to transport and logical to use.

I like the simple and functional binding system better than the technical advanced and complicated bindings of other brands. They have great traction for going up steep inclines and the hill lifter bar really does work and makes it much easier. They have been very durable and show no signs of quittin... Read more
