I have been sleeping on an REI Camp Bed XL a lot over the last couple of years because I snore, and wake my wife. I upgraded to the Megamat, and I am quite impressed. I have a bad back, so I am pretty sensitive to a poor sleeping surface. This thing is as comfort an a really nice beg mattress. Excellent product!
I initially felt so guilty about of spending so much money on a camping mattress, but didn't want to settle for something I would end up replacing later anyway. I use this to sleep in the bed of my truck. It is very warm and comfortable. I love the width and I never have to worry about slipping off the side or bottom. Overall I'm satisfied because I sleep great on it, and that's what really matters. My primary beef with it is that it is not the easiest to inflate. Looked nice but did not self inflate. That's the only complaint I've head about these mats. Campsaver exchanged it with no questions though, so 2 stars for the mat, 5 stars for Campsaver.
The video on the product page is out of date. We'll be sure to update the video. As far as attaching two mats together, Exped got rid of the "toggling" loops now the when you buy a Megamat it comes standard with a coupling strap included.
