Description

Scarpa’s new Freedom Ski Boot matches alpine boot performance with a category-leading cuff range (27 degrees) in touring mode to balance best-in-class features with an exceptional price. Created with design input from big-mountain ski pioneer Chris Davenport, the Freedom is remarkably light among Freeride boots at 4lbs 7oz per boot (size 27). It employs Scarpa’s patented Carbon Core Technology, which over-molds the lower boot around a carbon fiber-frame, yielding a 110 flex index boot. Interchangeable soles that are bolted through the carbon-fiber frame offer compatibility with any ski binding, from alpine to tech bindings, in a design that improves strength and power transfer to the ski. The Freedom is the Polyurethane version of the Freedom SL, with non-moldable liners and offering a friendlier price. The Freedom is at home in whatever terrain you ski: in-bounds, big mountain or backcountry.

    About Scarpa

    Scarpa
Innovation and tradition share equally deep roots at SCARPA. The company was among the first to recognize the needs of northern Italy's rapidly developing mountaineering and climbing culture, and to develop footwear with features dedicated to those pursuits. Those features, along with the brand's legendary durability and fit, led to many of Italy's early mountaineers using SCARPA shoes. In 1965, an Italian-American living in Boston began importing SCARPA footwear, making it the first manufacturer from the Asolo region to export to the U.S. In 2005, SCARPA opened a North American headquarters, headed by veterans of the outdoor industry in North America.
