Great little stove.

I love this little alcohol stove. It is small light, and if you are making simple meals that require boiling water or just reheating it is at the top of the list. I am an assistant boy scout leader/parent. I have heard of trangias for years but always used a bulky propane stove. I have seen the light. This stove is lightweight ,reliable and powerful enough for my purposes. I can't wait to go use it in the wild.

Great little burner.

Very well made and compact. It's great for camping but I like to make my coffee outside on the picnic table to watch the birds at the feeders and the butterflies on the flowers. The lid of the Esbit Cookset (985 ml) is meant to be doubled as a small pot, but could be used as a frying pan.

Q Is the trangia spirit stove compatible with the esbit burner as far as size is concerned? And what is the alcolhol capacity in ml?

The Trangia Spirit Stove and Esbit Burner are nearly identical in size, function, capacity, and performance. You're looking at about 70 ml of fuel capacity.

This will depend on the fuel, but with denatured alcohol you can expect about 15 to 20 minutes on a full burner.
