Stylish and warm, but not quite right

I wanted to like this skirt so bad. The colors were great and the fit was very flattering. It was warm, but immediately drafty when I sat or moved around due to the wrap-around fit. I have kids and ranch animals, so I move around all day. I also live up in the mountains, so I was hoping to wear this skirt around town and in the house to be warm and stylish. I could see how this skirt would be a great extra outer layer on a camping trip, to/from yoga, or in warmer winter climates. It wasn't quite solidly warm enough for the money, so I sadly had to return it.

Fun and warm

I bought this on a whim and didn't want to take it off. I don't use it for camping, I just throw it on over tights after I have worked out. It kept out the chill nicely. I have even worn it as a casual skirt and my fashionista teenager approved! One side is waterproof so it would catch the water under the drip line of a raincoat in Pacific Northwest rains, if you didn't feel like wearing rain pants. Tall boots required, of course. I plan to use it apres ski, over the base layer.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
