I bought this after watching my brother use it regularly hiking in the Rockies. I wear it by itself almost every winter day in central NC. Add a wind/rain shell and it's good down to 25 degrees. Great inside the house with thermostat turned low. Fine wind protection. Extremely light .. and looks good. I'm 6', 190 pounds, 36" waist, and the large fits fine. Expensive .. but worth it. You might find it on a very occasional sale like I did.

This thing is great, it's super light, super packable, and very warm for it's (minimal) weight. I use it both for layering, and as my primary insulation in warmer weather. The length is good, and it fits very well around the shoulders. The fit in the middle is large for me (I'm 5'8", 170#, 32"w). Overall, I HIGHLY recommend this vest
