Rab Fusion Jacket - Mens - Red - Large
Got it from the Shed for 60 bucks. First trial was a 5 day log out at 10000 ft in the rockies in the mid-spring. Rained all day everyday and I stayed dry and warm. Held up pretty well compared to some other Polartec fabrics. Not a scratch on it after some intensive field work.

Mont Bell U.L. Down Vest - Men's
Vest is compact and warm but the size large is too short and wide for comfort. I'm 6'4 and 185. It is fairly comfortable around camp but pairs awkwardly as a midlayer. Elastic at the shoulders is mildly uncomfortable as well. I do not recommend for tall lanky individuals. Sizing seems to be more directed at huskier folks.
