Product Info for Merkwares Emberlit Stoves

The Merkwares Emberlit Camp Stove NTN15383 is a lightweight, compact, and easy to use wood burning stove that doesn't require you carry any fuel. It packs completely flat at about 1/8" in thick, weighs only 11.3 oz (Stainless steel) or 5.45 oz (Titanium). Properly fed, the Merkwares Emberlit Stove requires minimal effort to produce and maintain an even flame with little or no smoke. A couple handfuls of twigs and sticks gathered on the trail is more than enough to boil water and cook a full meal. For a great way to make sure you are cooking with some of the best resources the outdoor industry has to offer, choose the Merkwares Emberlit Outdoor Camping Stove.

I've been looking at this option for awhile now, I use it as a "dual fuel" stove. Wood obviously and a tin foil stand to use esbit. No extra canister weight, folds down super flat, holds your pot very sturdy. Very happy It's a keeper!

A little smaller than expected

This is a very well made lightweight stove that packs into a small package. If you're not the type to cut your toothbrush and drill holes in it to cut weight then get the full size titanium version. This one is very small.

I really, really enjoy the Emberlit Titanium Wood Stove because of the versatility and durability. The only thing is that the hole where you feed the wood through is a little small. I cut the hole a little larger and it works great!!!

Goes together easily and is very stable. Also comes apart quickly and stores nicely in the enclosed case. Hardest part of using it the first time was removing the plastic coating on all the pieces. Definitely recommend.
