He loved it despite the back order and we had to wait over a month to receive it.
Awesome quality from a great Canadian brand. He's tried it once in the rain and it functioned perfectly. He was also surprise that it was less noisy than he expected.

Bought this jacket for a trip to Patagonia. I'll have to update my review once I've had time to use it but the fit is great. I'm 6'4", 260lbs and the XL has room for layering. Decided to splurge and get what I've researched is the best all around rain jacket for both rain and wind.
Greatly designed, with cortex material, provide insulation to rain , snow, and perform well as a wind stopper, no restriction to moving while hiking and even climbing. Wear with fill jacket or fleece, and addition with down base layer, the combination warm enough for most weather.

Best rain jacket I have ever had. Arcteryx not only make the awesome color caribaou, but also make this jacket very stylish. Feel very breathable enough to wear it all day. Tough enough to bear all kinds of outdoor damage. Highly recommend.
