The Darrah Coat From Arc'teryx is a warm, casual coat for fall and winter's colder days. Insulated with Arc'teryx Coreloft synthetic insulation, the coat is warm without looking bulky. The water repellent Neilsa polyester/cotton blend fabric resists snow and light rain, and has a soft, cottony hand with a subtle texture. A full coverage insulated hood provides extra protection and warmth, two zippered outside pockets hold essentials and warm the hands, and a zippered internal pocket secures important items.

This is my first time buying a winter coat at this price range. I was looking at other brands and ran into this one by chance. I'm so glad I bought it. I ordered a large (I'm 5'2" and 145 lbs.). It fits wonderfully and really keeps me perfectly warm in cold weather. Makes playing outside with the kids when the temperatures drop, a breeze.
Coats do not advertise a temperature rating typically for two reasons. First, comfort level is highly subjective. What is warm for one person may not be warm enough for someone else. Second, it depends on the type activity you will be doing with it.
