But this Arc'teryx Fortrez Hoody, with the exception of it being a little tight around my Adam's apple, is a great hoody. I especially love the integrated balaclava. "Why?" you ask. This is a very close fitting jacket. I am a fairly slim guy and it still is almost skin tight around the chest and around the shoulders. Luckily for me it was just perfect. I am 175cm, and have a bit broader than average shoulders, but a slim torso. Additionally, sleeve lengths were spot on, and give a little extra.

This is a light fleece, not the warmest for me. It does have several nice features, the hood with built in face mask, two nice size hand pockets and a Napoleon pocket on the chest. The inner fleece does not slide well against lower layers so when putting it on it takes a little positioning to get it to sit right. The Nighthawk color is a very dark navy blue.
