Light, quick-drying TerraTex is used in the main body to shed grams while hardwearing Fortius 1.0 reinforces high-wear areas and provides air permeable stretch performance. Two harness-friendly zippered thigh pockets, one with a dedicated smartphone sleeve, keep topo maps, a toque or energy bars right at hand.

I have the stingrey color and these are my favorite shorts for backpacking and hiking. They dry incredibly fast and seem to have a water repellant coating. The material is silky feeling and stretchy making them extremely comfortable and give full freedom of movement. They are durable yet lightweight and cool for hot summer days.
