I have the stingrey color and these are my favorite shorts for backpacking and hiking. They dry incredibly fast and seem to have a water repellant coating. The material is silky feeling and stretchy making them extremely comfortable and give full freedom of movement. They are durable yet lightweight and cool for hot summer days. The fabric blocks wind and I am still wearing them on hikes in the dropping fall temperatures. I like that the belt is built into the shorts and is unnoticable beneath the hipbelt of my backpack. I have purchased two pairs of these shorts. The first pair is a size Large. The second pair are medium. I have a 33" waist that puts me right between the two sizes. I'm 6'-3" tall and weigh about 215lbs (slim athletic build). I wear the larges with the belt tightened all the way and mediums with the belt let out all the way. The mediums are a little snug and the larges are loose. A perfect fit would be a half size in between. I find the larges to be slightly more comfortable, but still wear both pairs. The price seems high for a pair of shorts, but these are worth it. I have purchased a few other arcteryx models and other brand hiking shorts and none are as good. The pockets have been well thought out and are fairly big. I carry my map and compass in one and a bandana in the other and don't notice them while hiking. I would get the Psiphon pants if they came in a longer inseam length.

This flask is the lightest I've used and the attached funnel sets it apart from other flasks. Great design and well made. Durable and light enough to take backpacking. A little expensive, but you get what you pay for.
