THe Asolo TPS 535 V boot has an outsole that incorporates three shock absorbers that correspond with the areas of the foot that receive highest impact during activity. Gripped with a molded rubber outsole produced in conjunction with Vibram, the balance of the outsole has self-cleaning lugs designed for optimum performance on varying types of terrain.

This is my 3rd pair of these boots. I have always been happy with the durability and breathability of these non-GoreTex leather boots. The fit is just right for my foot with regular width and medium arches. I’ve had a pair of Asolo Fugitive GTX (GoreTex) boots for 15 years and they’re good as new. The sole is a little worn, but not a whole lot. GoreTex is great for waterproofing, but does lead to some heat build-up in boots that use it. Having moved to Texas a few years back, I wanted a leather boot that would cause the least heat build-up. These boots are just what I was looking for to replace the boots that I wore out after many years. They are extremely comfortable and fit perfectly even though I have very narrow feet. Definitely pleased with this purchase!
