Literally armed to the teeth with new traction the 12 Series' tenacious, stainless steel Zodiac toe crampon deeply penetrates even the firmest snow, while the weight-activated, StabiLock Rear Traction optimizes weight distribution to its serrated traction elements, for sure footing on the most technical terrain. The men's and women's Wrapp Pro bindings feature FlowTape silicone straps that glide through low-friction buckles with a smooth buckle release for easy on-off use. The 7075 aluminum frame is the lightest, strongest tubing available, and the variable ReactiV forming lends a stiffer, more responsive flex.

First Time Snowshoer - Great Shoe

Got a great deal on these for end-of-season closeout, so I haven't had a chance to take them out too many times. However, they seem really secure and the binding is very easy to operate. Stable on icy, hard-packed, late winter snow. Not much sinking. They kick up a lot of snow (I imagine all snowshoes do), so I will need gaiters next winter! The color is also lovely.
