Got a great deal on these for end-of-season closeout, so I haven't had a chance to take them out too many times. However, they seem really secure and the binding is very easy to operate. Stable on icy, hard-packed, late winter snow. Not much sinking. They kick up a lot of snow (I imagine all snowshoes do), so I will need gaiters next winter! The color is also lovely.
