There are plenty of Backpacking Pads on the market that make your camping trips more comfortable, but few of them are as useful as the Big Agnes Hinman Core Sleeping Pad. The Himan is a foam-core sleeping pad that is self-inflating and deflating, freeing up valuable space in your pack because you don't need to bring a pump with you. It comes in several sizes with varying thickness levels to meet your comfort needs, and since it has a foam core, it is perfect for camping in colder weather. Plus, the top is made from stretchy, soft polyester fabric to give you a cushioned, durable sleeping surface that keeps you comfortable all night long even when you're far out in the backwoods.

At age 53, i am a 25 year veteran of the outdoors. My evaluation is based on only one use but for a straight forward self inflating pad, this one will work. I rated it a 4 only because i have used it once. After a year and 4 more uses, I bet is gets a 5. I got this pad with the Big Agnes Elk Park sleeping bag for Winter camping. This pad was fantastic! Never cold, fit snugly into the Elk Park bag and was a breeze to inflate and deflate/pack up.
Plan to use it with the Buffalo Park bag in the Summer time. A+++
