i bought this specifically for car camping, so my husband and I don't have to have the issue about falling in the 'gaps' when we pair two single sleeping pads with tabs or clips. i have a 50" wide double nemo air pillow topper which, although is 2" short compared to the pad, still fits well and closes fine , due to it's stretchiness.
