The Big Agnes Insulated Double Z Air Pad provides you with ultimate warmth and comfort no matter where you rest your head. The super light, 3 season Insulated Double Z Air Pad with PrimaLoft Silver Hi-Loft insulation is a 4 inch thick gateway to dreamland. This pad features an internal stabilizer construction to distribute weight evenly and a 2-piece valve allowing for one way inflation and super quick deflation.

The pad is thick and sturdy when inflated. It is light for how thick and insulated, and 4.5 R-value is great. Could be better at packing down and deflation takes some patience with all the baffles and support bolsters to trap air. Might be better suited to car camping than backpacking, otherwise great pad.
I got this pad for my bed for while I was doing conservation corps work. After the first month it started to get a slow leak, which I wasn't extremely offended by, being that it was still warm at the time and I patched the leak up pretty quick. This is the second insulated pad I've bought, this time for my girlfriend. Depth gives great comfort and added insulation over and above the standard. Insulation works well - I foolishly skipped this with a prior airbed and suffered a cold night from below for my cheapness!

Took 40 puffs to inflate- very thick and comfortable!! Packs down very small! Can’t wait to try this on the trail. Mesh bag works well to hold pad. Easy to deflate. Would recommend. Comes with patch kit.

I would highly recommend this pad for anyone that needs a little extra padding under them for a good nights sleep. I used a 2 inch thermarest before this and it makes a world of a difference. It easy to roll back up into its sack.
