The Saddle Mountain SL Sleeping Bag from Big Agnes is for couples who want to share sleeping bags, but also want the ability to backpack without filling their entire pack. The light, packable Saddle Mountain SL 15 Sleeping bag uses two 20" wide pads and is filled with 700 fil DownTek duck down which allows the bag to be compressed to an acceptable 11 x 11 inches. At only 3 lb 13 oz, the Saddle Mountain is lighter than two comparable bags packed separately and eliminates some of the hassle that comes along with zipping your bags together. Like all Big Agnes Sleeping Bags, the Saddle Mountain has a pad sleeve on the bottom that fits two 20 inch pads of any length. We recommend the Big Agnes Insulated Air Core Pads for maximum comfort.

Excellent couples sleeping bag.

We got this since my SO get cold at night, and its nice to be able to share heat. The sleeping bag is super warm, and is of high quality. Great bag and a great deal

Only used it once so far but it worked well. 25 degree F night, used exped SynMat UL 7 with it. My partner and I were nice and warm. Had a single thin layer on my legs, and two layers (one fleece, one cotton/wool blend)on my upper half, plus a wool beanie. We are smaller people so we had plenty of room to move around as needed. Double sleeping bag, super cozy

My wife and I have used this bag twice now, on 35-40 degree nights. Totally warm, and more importantly, totally cozy together. This bag is an awesome addition to our backpacking. Best Double Bag on the Market

The Big Agnes Saddle Mountain is not cheap, but well worth the money for a backpacking couple that wants to share a sleeping bag. It is packed with thoughtful features and warm enough for sub-freezing temperatures. It's also very lightweight and compact for its size. Highly recommended!
