Our most versatile all-purpose harness, the Black Diamond Momentum DS harness features maximum adjustability and range of fit for entry-level use. Dual Speed Adjust buckles on both the waistbelt and leg loops allow for an incredible range of adjustment for multi-season and multi-climber use, while the tall, bullhorn-shaped waistbelt improves comfort during long belays.

I originally had the mens momentum harness which I loved but lost enough weight that I needed a new one. I chose the momentum ds specifically because it had adjustments on both sides of the hips. I love being able to adjust fit from both sides.

This harness is comfortable, secure, and goes on and off very quickly. I have several other harnesses and this is near the top in comfort, the Metolius Safe Tech Deluxe Improved is more comfortable, but is also heavier and doesn’t pack down as well. I had hoped that I could adjust the dual buckles to give a good symmetrical fit, however it was too difficult to manage. Less bells and whistles the better. One buckle is best.
