A thin leather glove with synthetic stretchy back. Pretty warm, for what they are. I love these for mixed climbs and general mountaineering. I will probably use them for cold weather rock climbing too. I wear them under big mittens. When things get technical, the mittens come off, and these stick to rock like a chalked hand. Comfortable, effective gloves

Just purchased these gloves. They fit great, and work well to protect hands on longer rappels. So far I like them quite a bit, though I have only used them for 3 days so far, all in dry conditions.
