Crux AK 57 Rucksack has been discontinued by Crux and is no longer available. Our product experts have helped us select these available replacements below. You can also explore other items in the Camp & Hike, Travel, Backpacks & Bags, Backpacking Packs, Multi-Day Packs (50-75L) yourself to try and find the perfect replacement for you!
The AK57 is the big brother to the AK47 and features the removable floating lid of the 47-X. Its name is not as catchy as the 47's, but that doesn't mean its short of attitude it is just more understated. The larger capacity of the AK57 makes it a suitable pack for lightweight expeditions on high(er) altitude climbs, or for more traditional, less technical alpine routes (code for us more normal climbers who don't like to cut our safety margins like the crazy, extreme guys do).
Features of Crux AK 57 Rucksack:
Removable floating lid for more versatile load options
External and internal lid pockets with taped seams
Side compression straps quick and easy to fit or remove
Oversized back haul loop easy to grab and clip
Top compression strap
40 mm webbing waistbelt with low-profile full-sized hip-fins
4 mm Rivory-Joanny drawcords for emergency rap anchors

The backpack broke the first day out... The lid zip unglued from the fabric and it was impossible to repair it. The fabric of the pack seems durable but the foam of the back panel is very hot and the air don't pass throught

Well, like many online reviewers iv'e only just received the pack so there is little point writing a review yet. Is there. Even if it looks perfect I can hardly give it 5 stars until iv'e used it for a while. Can I.
