Built to move quickly and confidently through the terrain of your choosing, this waterproof Trail 2650 can easily fill the role of a lightweight hiker or trainer. Using a Trailguard TPU shank and an EXO Heel System, the Trail 2650 is lightweight, provides stability on challenging ground and utilizes a Gore-Tex liner for waterproof protection.

We combine a durable suede with a lightweight textile to create an upper with modern performance and timeless Danner durability.
GORE-TEX (GTX)
100% waterproof and breathable, GORE-TEX liners ensure that no water gets in, while allowing sweat and moisture to get out.
REMOVABLE ORTHOLITE FOOTBED
Three layers of varying density are combined for maximum cushioning and support. The entire footbed is made of open-cell polyurethane for better heat dissipation and air circulation.
DANNER PLYOGO MIDSOLE
Ultra-lightweight EVA provides excellent cushioning with optimal weight savings.
VIBRAM 460 OUTSOLE
Self-adapting lugs and Vibrams specially formulated Megagrip compound provide long-wearing resilience with incredible grip on both wet and dry surfaces.
DANNER TRAILGUARD
Lightweight and supportive, the Trailguard TPU shank provides stability and underfoot protection on rough, uneven terrain.
HOW IT FITS
Inspired from trail running, the DT6 last features an 8mm offset from heel to toe with slightly more width in the forefoot for stability and a good-looking, everyday-wearable aesthetic.

I have the shoe version of these and those are very comfortable. I got 1/2 size larger for the boot on advice of some reviews, but it's probably not necessary if you don't have wide feet or don't wear very thick socks.

These are great! They took about 5 minutes to soften up. The fit is good. Water and mud roll off these shoes. Lightweight and comfortable. I really like them! This is my first pair of Danners and I am impressed.

Danner does it right! I got a great black Friday deal and had to pull the purchase trigger.The boots are much lighter than I expected and design still has decent rigidity. I needed a light to medium boot that's water friendly via vortex and these seem good. They have been super comfortable on light hikes as well as wearing all day. Received the boots the day I left for a back country trip (elk hunt). Put 38 miles on the boots covering blow downs and everything that comes from spending five days going up and down drainages. The only recommendation I would have for anyone is get a good pair of gators.
