Nice, lightweight design even with the convenient handles and tight fitting lid. The non-stick interior is a nice bonus even though I use it mostly for boiling water.

Nonstick surface is tough, works like a champ. Obviously, have to be careful of hotspots when working over a camp stove, even the finely adjustable ones, so you can't just leave it for long periods without stirring. But when doing more than boiling water, this pot is the one for backpackers going light.

Bought this pot as am starting to do some walks with my wife and needed a bigger pot . Found that this pot size is more gas efficient if used with a wind shield . Must spread the flame over the larger base.
Need to be careful not to over heat in this pot as it burns food very very quickly so use low heat ...which is not a major issue for me .

I wouldn't eat a freeze dried dinner at home so why would I eat one while backpacking? With a little planning I can put together great lightweight dinners that are better and more filling than packaged freeze dried dinners for a fraction of the cost.
