Packing to fist size and inflating with just a couple of breaths, the Exped Air Pillow removes all excuses for leaving a pillow at home. And at just 3 ounces it won't weigh you down. Various head positions are easily accommodated by way of indentations and a sloping design. Two low-profile FlatValves, one for inflation and another for deflation, make for quick deployment and packing. Soft tricot polyester fabric is comfortable next to the skin.
Features of Exped Air Pillow:
Soft tricot polyester fabric is comfortable next to the skin
Exped's exclusive FlatValves, one for inflation and another for deflation, are low profile and highly durable
Higher on one side than the other and contoured for side and back sleepers' head positions
Two loops allow pillow to be attached to Exped mats with corresponding loops. This keeps the pillow from migrating during the night

bought this for my AT2014 thru hike. I'm not so sure about the ridges on this pillow from just using it indoor. I'll find out how comfortable it is on the trail. Had good reviews and its lightweight.
The Air Pillows are VOC free and Oekotex 100 approved. They do not contain PVC, phthalates, lead, or AZO dyes. In fact in Europe, the restrictions concerning environmental and health concerns are quite severe and governed by the European REACH legislation. As a European company, all Exped products meet these standards.
