The Gregory Z65 seems to be a great pack. I bought the pack thinking that it was built to handle extended trips with average to slightly above average weight. However, upon receiving the pack, it was clear that it is an ultralight pack meant to carry ultralight gear. good pack for the price

I purchased this pack to go on a week long canoe trip. Didn't do a ton of hiking with it, but enough to know that it is a sturdy pack with good support. It also has convenient zippers and pockets that make organizing gear easy. Happy with this pack so far

Had an older gregory zpack I have used for years in a 50 liter. Bought this z65 and did a 3 day climbing trip with about 45lbs in it. Suspension handled the weight great and was very comfortable. The raincover does come as a free item, and the size depends on the size of the pack you choose. The system will automatically assign the corresponding sized cover based on the pack you choose.

Q I know the Z55 has the U zipper giving you access (suitcase style) to the main compartment from the outside of the pack. Does the Z65 have the U zipper?
