An inexpensive alternative to the other trowels out there and does the job well. This is such a great improvement over my old orange trowel. Serrated edges dig through stubborn soil. A must for backpacking. Very sturdy.

You don't need to pay a fortune to dig a cathole. This one will do the trick, last for years and, best of all, it's made of "repurposed" plastic materials! It's super lightweight, you can measure the depth of the hole with it and reading material is included on the back of the shovel. You can pay more; it can weigh more; but why would you?
