The most versatile knife I've ever owned

This knife is not only aesthetically beautiful, but so multi-functional. I can't imagine the mind and effort put into the creation of these knives in Norway, Helle's work is second to none. It is so incredibly sharp right out of the box it's amazing, and the design is perfect for the mild to extreme outdoors-men.

Exellent knife for deer hunting or camp.

The blade is extremely sharp and the edge holds well. I butchered a deer and the knife still cuts paper smoothly. This is a very good buy for an all around excellent knife.

Q Ive read that sandvik 12c27 is a low quality steel that will easily bend or break if you try is this true?

I have recently used a similar knife on a hog hunt. It was not this brand, but was the same steel. It was sharp, held it's edge well while skinning.
And it was easy to get back sharp when finished with just a couple strokes of diamond stone.

The knife I used seemed really high quality, and I found this site by looking for a similar one for me.
