I have recently used a similar knife on a hog hunt. It was not this brand, but was the same steel. It was sharp, held it's edge well while skinning.
And it was easy to get back sharp when finished with just a couple strokes of diamond stone.

The knife I used seemed really high quality, and I found this site by looking for a similar one for me.

Sandvik 12c27 is a stainless chromium steel with an optimized analysis for use in high quality professional knife applications. It does not easily bend or break and holds an edge really well.
