The Nying is a short stubby knife designed for fishermen. The handle is generously proportioned to give a good grip even when your hands are cold or covered in fish slime. The 2 3/4" blade is laminated stainless steel. The attractive leather sheath has a distinctive cutout design.

I bought this as a hunting knife in order to keep my cold-sensitive fingers from being frostbit, again. The insulating wood handle is perfect in that regard. Palm-filling, but with a shape that allows great control with or without wearing gloves, the ergonomics of this knife are fantastic! In my large hands, it felt good regardless of the grip I used. Great small knife that I carry daily. The blade is very sharp. The handle is short but fits the hand well. I'm not a big fan of folding knives but also didn't want an oversized, heavy fixed blade. This knife is well built and light weight!
