First off, these fit true to size, all my other hiking boots fit 1/2 to 1 size bigger. Right from the start I knew I loved these boots, light, nimble, Super cushy soles and yet i don't feel the granite beneath them. These boots have an extremely aggressive arch, which should be pointed out by Hoka One One. If you have flat feet, avoid these boots as the arch will dig into your foot. I gave them four stars because I didn't think it was fair to ding them just because the boot isn't right for my foot, but Hoka has a responsibility to describe the arch simply because of how aggressive it is. I usually wear 8 size shoes and 8.5 size hiking boots.
I had to buy size 9 because my size was out of stock.
Shoes are a little big but comfortable at all.
I haven't worn it yet, but I'm very excited because I think other people's reviews are good.

Awesome shoes like walking on clouds. When hiking on rocky surfaces you really never feel the rock penetrating through the sole of the shoe. One recommendation I would make, is to make sure you get a size greater than you would normally use. This will keep from jamming your toe hiking downhill.

These shoes are are extremely comfortable, provide excellent support, and are reasonably durable. I have ankle problems and I find that these shoes make walking much easier than my other shoes. They are not too hot in hot weather, and not too cold either when it’s cold. Some of the plastic frills have come loose after 6 months of daily use but that’s no big deal.
