I HAVE USED TENT "FOOTPRINTS" FOR YEARS. IF I COULD NOT BUY ONE TO MATCH/FIT MY TENTS, I MADE THEM. USUALLY THEY WERE MADE FROM SOME FORM OF WATERPROOF MATERIAL. I BOUGHT THEM TO HELP PROTECT THE TENT FLOOR FROM ABUSE AND TO HELP KEEP THE FLOOR OF THE TENT DRIER. BUT THIS PRODUCT IS DIFFERENT FROM ANYTHING I HAVE EVER USED UNDER MY TENTS. My son had his footprint stolen and this was a gift to replace the stolen one. It is a perfect fit for his Grand Mesa 2 tent and it is the usual Kelty excellent quality.
