I had read other reviews stating that the reflective quality was great, but the item I received was not very reflective at all. I know the item is discontinued, but I can't figure out why the reflective properties would be less on the item I received. Works great as cord, but don't buy if you want a very reflective cord.

Sturdy and REALLY visible. I use it for everything- bear bag, continuous Ridgeline, tarp/tent tie-outs.Additionally I've had some of this stuff around and in use for a decade- no probs. Not the smoothest cord but this is helpful for my knot know-how

I use Kelty TripTease on my tent, but it is great for everything else. This cord is lightweight and durable. It can also be used to tensions tarp and mark other items of equipment for night time. The cord is reinforced by dyneema, but the knots are still fine to tie

As I get older I try to find ways to cut down on weight and space in my backpack sto assist me with long portages. I decided to replace all my paracord guy lines with the triptease. When testing the knot strength of the triptease with a sheet bend, it held pertfectly with no slippage. I hope it performs as well when wet.

it's light weight, very strong, and gives a lower overall profile to my tent. I'm replacing the original guidelines with Triptease Lightline for my pyramid tent and they work very well.
The Kelty Triptease Lightline comes in a fifty foot length and weighs only one ounce. The lines are yellow to make them visible during the day and have reflective fibers woven into them so they can be seen at night.
