These boots feel great on my feet. Extremely comfortable, true to size and look as good as they feel. Haven’t had them long enough to see the long term quality but they are Lowa and I expect they will perform. I would recommend these to anyone.

This is my 4th pair of these boots over decades of use. They are light enough for daily wear yet rugged enough for tough hiking. The uppers show little wear after many years of use. Vibram soles grip well and can be built back up with Shoe Goo.

I bought the lowa gtx renegades as a xmas present this year for my daughter. I have a pair of these same boots that I bought 4? years ago. I am still using them. She has worn mine so she knows how they feel and fit.

Been wearing Lowa Renagade GTX boots for over 10 years. They last me about 2 years everyday wear and I am not easy on them. I do wear my custom inserts because of a foot injury. Nice wide toe box and good lacing system.

The sizing is true to size. Lowa's tend to fit pretty snug for their size. I'm not sure how your orthotics would fit in the boot. If you size up, you might run the risk of heel slip.
