The baffles of the R3 contain recycled EVA foam that would normally be collected and shipped for disposal. For every R3 pad purchased, 15lbs of EVA foam is being recycled/reused! The ground shield unfolds to protect the R3's suspension system from dirt and moisture. Great for a top layer on top of other traditional crash pads due to its soft landing. Excels in conforming to uneven surfaces or wrapping around features that you need fall protection from.

I dig how the baffles allow it to contour so it can be draped over a rock. I have a few standard solid pads that are usually my main landing and then this one I use for covering rocks in the landing are and awkward spots most pads don't sit well.
