Fits well and is comfortable. While belly crawling through a cave it did a great job protecting my head - I smacked the roof four different times but with the helmet it was no problem.

After doing a lot of research I determined this would be the best value buy for me as a new climber. I have not been disappointed. This helmet is comfortable, breathable, and protective! I love it.
I could not see anything on the OSHA website about helmets. https://www.osha.gov/doc/topics/communicationtower/index.html#Standards You are welcome to check.
