I have used this tent for just about anything I do. Great for car camping and trips that you might have a base camp. Not the lightest tent in the world, but it is super versatile. I love the tent, but there's a tag that says it's made with some kind of cancer-causing (known to the state of california) fire retardant chemicals. Wish Marmot would stop using this stuff. Unfortunately, it seems all manufacturers use these chemicals, so there's not a lot of alternative tent options
The rain started Friday at 10pm and did not stop until Saturday at 5pm. The tent held up well and did not leak. The floor eventually became wet, but we should have put a tarp down even though it came with a pad. This tent is spacious compared to our 2-person backpacking tent.
It might be a little bulky for backpacking.
I called to confirm some tent details and features that I couldn't easily see from online pics and videos. The rep was great help with finding out the answers quickly. Also I needed some assistance changing the delivery dates after I already placed the order and with a short call campsaver rep assisted me again. Very nice improvements with this new model especially the almost vertical sides. Makes for much more room than I expected. Also own a Marmot Tungesten 2P but this will be our go-to tent now!

This tent is great lightweight 3 season tent, saying that it provides great ventilation and different options to keep cool in the summer. Definitely try not to use the fly for optimal ventilation, unless a storm is coming in. Thanks
